To kick start the latest Reebok marketing campaign, Ryan Giggs will be endorsing the latest RunTone trainers.
Last month we saw Thierry Henry wearing the whacky Reebok ZigTech energy transfer trainers while earlier in the year Kelly Brook was promoting the growing range of Reebok EasyTones shoes. So it’s certainly full steam ahead for Reebok’s celebrity marketing!
The Reebok RunTones are a redesign of the best selling Reebok EasyTone in that they promote better health by working key leg and core muscles harder when walking or running. And the most important feature of the RunTone is that it can be used for running while the more fashion focussed EasyTone was more heavily targetted towards women who would be walking.
Reebok isn’t the first manufacturer to bring toning shoes to a male market. However, as a recognised sports brand with a focus on performance and celebrity endorsement, Reebok may bring the concept of exercise shoes and toning trainers to men with some success.
With the football Premier League just around the corner, BBC Sports Personality of the Year Ryan Giggs has been using his own RunTones to get the most out of training.
With Reebok ZigTech endorsed by Thierry Henry, Reebok EasyTone endorsed by Kelly Brook and now Reebok RunTone endorsed by Ryan Giggs, Reebok has put together an all-start cast for their marketing campaign. Stay tuned for more on the latest Reebok news as it breaks.
